Someone told me that their test for intelligence was whether the person appeared interested and curious about things. I think this can be a modestly effective test, although some very bright people don't look bright.Applying the above approach to your pictures, my only conclusions were that Peano looks intelligent and that W D Jones and Jackie Kennedy don't seem particularly bright.A similar point is that some folk just freeze in front of a camera. So I wouldn't draw any adverse conclusions from Pugsey Hurley's photo. Anyhow, the above approach doesn't indicate how bright a person is. So I'd conclude that Peano is bright but was he run of the mill or a real genius? A last point - can we increase our intelligence (or at least our functioning intelligence) by changing the way we look?
