A Map of Mathematics

Here is a simple map of the world of mathematics, with topics assigned rather arbitrarily to continents. North America is probabilistic and empirical, sliding into chaos in Greenland. South America is the austere home of calculus and trigonometry, while European geometry meets its algebraic relatives in Africa across the Mediterranean. Asia is the home of number, while computerised logic is exiled to Australia (click image to enlarge).
