Fluffy Animal Psych Ward
OK, here is a strange one:
One can't help feeling sorry for the fluffy animals in this psych hospital. They've all been traumatised by their owners, who have treated them as things rather than people. As Kant says, we must always treat people as ends in themselves and not merely as means.

I've been doing some research at the National Library (finding information on, among other topics, the ecologist Charles Elton):
While you can't browse the shelves, access is fairly easy (with online requests), and you can get a coffee while they find your book.
However, I did wish that, like pluvialis, I could have been in the Bodleian at Oxford:
But, of course, I was! And it was closed -- an opportunity wasted.
